it's nit picking too say he could have continued because it would only have taken one more clean shot too maybe have done real damage.
This fight was all about the win, get in there do the job and look good doing it, i'm sure Big Mac was mighty nervous coming into this one,and even if the guy had one arm and one leg, Mac would have had his doubts.
Maccarinelli said after the fight, that he's keen to push thing's along as fast as reasonable, a comment that seems sensible, theirs no point hanging around at this stage of his career, maybe another couple of tune ups then a shot at a domestic title.
It way too early too be thinking of Cleverly, but the first step has been taken, and the Mac's dream is still alive.
